Front End Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

You’ll be joining a talented team focusing on delivering interfaces for internal colleagues and external end users. You’ll have the opportunity to work with stakeholders to assist in shaping the design and UX of these mission critical experiences. We are currently at the intersection of platform redesign, product/industry innovation and scale.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with UX design turning concepts into functional interfaces
  • Collaborate with server side engineers for request/response contract definitions
  • Design and develop code for existing and new interfaces with emphasis on quality and excellent experiences
  • Participate in code reviews, seeking continuity in design and quality of implementation
  • Contribute feedback on improvement opportunities during retrospectives.
  • Serve as a catalyst for our corporate and engineering cultures as a driven team player

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Solid understanding of JavaScript and HTTP
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Experience building, deploying, maintaining and extending JS applications
  • Experience with Angular/Typescript
  • Experience with dashboarding/charting libraries such as Highcharts
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experiencing working with data services over HTTP
  • NodeJs, NPM and Webpack experience a plus
