Territory Sales Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for the best and brightest talent and a professional who understands the value of results-driven selling. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for direct sales within Automotive Dealerships across the country. They will create and deliver presentations and close business with prospective dealership management. They help prospective clients see the value of utilizing Client Command’s products and services to their fullest extent to help the client’s business, and they build the value not only in initial presentation, but in follow up afterwards. They work with multiple internal teams to facilitate new business sales. They will also own the sales goal for moving their clients toward signing new business with Client Command’s services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for dealers within assigned market area
  • Manage market area dealer opportunities for new account sales
  • Strategically align Client Command’s solutions with potential dealer clients during presentations
  • Aggressively follow up with potential dealer clients after presentation for generating new business sales and company revenue according to stated goals
  • Manage the best in class client experience and proper expectations for potential new clients
  • Communicate effectively after a new sale to align the efforts of sales and operational team on behalf of the new client’s needs
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on campaign performance, market/industry changes
  • Follow corporate process for client communication/documentation in Salesforce and other programs
  • Bring a positive attitude to overall client experience and company culture and values
  • Meet or exceed assigned personal forecast in assigned market area
  • Travel as needed to trade shows, event and dealer sales opportunities

  • Excellent ability to manage a sales pipeline and funnel
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foresee client needs, and procure internal or external resources to creatively problem solve
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Technical aptitude to learn new computer programs
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment


  • Automotive industry-related sales experience required with 5+ years’ selling product to dealerships strongly preferred
