Sales Administrator (Business Development)

Position Summary

The Sales Administrator is responsible for creating scalable processes that ensure best practices in sales and operations management assist sales teams in achieving revenue goals. In addition, this individual will conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by management from across the sales and marketing groups, leading demand generation campaigns with the appointment coordinators and providing oversight. They will provide support with various sales-related tools and technologies employed by Client Command. This position will support the entire sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increase productivity for all sales staff through process and tools
  • Ensure usage of Salesforce and cleanliness of data accelerates sales
  • Provide pipeline and executive summaries to business leaders
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for sales visibility and decision making
  • Manage distribution and assignment tasks as assigned by the SVP of BD
  • Partner with marketing to enable sales when necessary
  • Partner with product to ensure sales team is up to speed on products
  • Provide accountability for daily and weekly sales activities
  • Manage sales team vendors (i.e. Salesforce) to ensure project and support success
  • Train and coach sales team on CRM and sales process
  • Lead forecasting and goal setting
  • Lead accountability efforts (and more so, coordinate success parties)
  • Manage Appointment Coordinator(s) daily/weekly activities to ensure data accuracy and achieve expected results
  • Define the structure, SalesForce flow, skill sets, scripts, patterns
  • Salesforce integration with processes for keeping Salesforce updated compared to Client Command’s internal system
  • Prepare client presentations and proposals in PowerPoint and Excel and explore ways to automate more of these processes

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent closing skills in sales across multiple stakeholders per potential client
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing deadlines and client needs
  • Ability to foresee client needs, and procure internal or external resources to creatively problem solve
  • Strong analytical skills/detail-oriented/able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Technical aptitude to learn new computer programs
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is required
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in sales or sales operations
  • Automotive and/or Marketing experience is preferred
